The BLOOM metaverse environment is an alluring playground, where visitors can delve into the depths of self-expression and identity. The experience crafted is one like no other, for RTFKT’s CloneX, an NFT collaboration led by the legendary artist Takashi Murakami. CloneX immerses one in a conceptual world beyond imagination, using a powerful tool to define what we are merging fashion and immortalized identity through digitization.

CloneX brings various dimensions for inspiration. Following form generation inspired from the stages: birth, evolution, and immortality, the building was further brought to life through materiality.
Wrapping the vertical runway experience with glowing veins acting as pigments pumped into the building. Inspired from Neri Oxman’s genome studies, showing this particularly in the evolution stage as a means of transporting into the new avatar genome.
The journey begins with the sunflower garden to capture the essence of the mastermind, Takashi Murakami’s twist on Japanese art, luring the user in through the fields.
Starting with the logo of RTFKT, then starting to abstract the 3 main keywords into shaping the form the building is birthed from the ground, evolves into a connection , reaches for immortality where the towers continue parallel to one another, so never meeting, expressing endlessness and eternity.
The modeling steps are summarized in the diagram shown, and the experiential narrative is as follows. From the Avatar Hub and the brand’s NFT Exhibition displaying the 8 DNAs of CloneX, up and through the Vertical Runway, and to the Catwalk Rooftop where the show takes place.
